Celebrating 50 Years
We were deeply honored to host a beautiful 50th anniversary vow renewal for brother Donnie and sister Sue, beloved pastors of Shady Grove Assembly of God who have faithfully served our community for many years. Their love for each other and unwavering dedication to others was felt throughout the entire celebration. It was a joy to witness such a special milestone for a couple who has poured so much into the lives of those around them. We are truly blessed to know them, and to have shared in this unforgettable moment,

A Extra Special Surprise Engagement
As the owners of a beautiful wedding venue nestled in the heart of South Alabama, we have had the privilege of hosting many couples on their most special day. From exchanging vows under the oak trees to dancing the night away in the barn. Each celebration is unique and filled with love. However, on December 22nd, we were blessed to witness an event even closer to our hearts take place as our son Josh proposed to his beautiful girlfriend Jenny.
Congratulations to our son Josh and his fiancé Jenny! We could not be more proud or excited. Let the wedding planning begin!

A Picture Perfect New Addition
Summer 2023
We are excited to share our new way to capture memories here at The Oaks! Our new state-of-the-art photobooth has already been a favorite attraction amongst wedding guests this season. All photos taken can be printed on sight just like a traditional photobooth, but a digital copy can be sent straight to the guest after taken, and the entire collection will be emailed to the bride and groom at the end of the night.

Crews Wright Releases His First Single.
Samson Alabama native, Crews Wright, released his first song Phone in Heaven with a celebration here at The Oaks. Surrounded by Crews’s friends and family, we got to have the first listen to his new single, along with a live performance from country music’s newest star. At just 15 years old, Wright was awarded the opportunity to record a single by winning Southern Lights: The Search for a Star singing competition in 2022 and is now booking live events.
